Made the job super easy. Alignment tool, starter punch, drive punch. Would recommend for anyone doing gunsmithing on the AR platform

This job I never look forward to. It can be a pain, but with these tools it became a lot easier. “Right tools for the right job” after running a gas block pin it was time to get the right equipt. Brownells came through as usual. Very good all the way around. If you build, you know!
Punch kit works.
Just finished using this punch kit on the 4th gas block job. Used on a Larue gas block to change a bent gas tube from a bad jam. Short punch pushes spring pin all the way out because diameter is smaller than longer seating punch. Starter punch starts new spring pin in half way. Long punch is slightly bigger in diameter to seat new spring pin flush. Kit works great!
Only starter punch & pin holder useful
The starter punch and pin holder worked ok but the third punch could not be used with my gas block - the diameter was too large. I was able to make do using only the tools that fit, though.
