Integral Red Dot Sight Mounting Slot + Unique Custom Upgrades!

The Brownells RMR Slide for Glock® 19 Gen3 pistols is the ideal upgrade for your factory G19 or the perfect "top half" for a brand-new custom gun built on a compatible frame from another manufacturer. This slide features a pre-cut slot for easy, secure, low-profile mounting of a Trijicon RMR or Holosun red dot sight. Up front, you'll find distinctive cocking serrations that aid in manipulating the slide to check the chamber or clear a jam. And let's admit it: the serrations just look cool, too! The RMR Slide also has standard Glock® factory front and rear sight dovetails for backup "iron" sights. Use suppressor-height iron sights for proper co-witness with the red dot.

You can get your RMR Slide for Glock® 19 Gen3 with the traditional solid top or with a "window" cutout between the front serrations that enhances air flow to cool the barrel - ideal for hard-working action competition pistols. If you have an upgraded barrel with a contrasting finish or a unique exterior pattern (fluting, spirals, flames, etc.) the window lets you show it off a bit! Or install our ported barrel for Glock 19, and combustion gas venting from the barrel ports through the window will counteract muzzle rise and help you keep the sights on the target for subsequent shots - no need to install a bulky compensator on the muzzle.

• Fits Gen3 Glock® 19 pistols & clones

• Built-in Trijicon RMR mounting slot

• Also accepts Holosun HE508T, HS507C & HS407C red dot sights

• Factory front/rear iron sight cuts, too

• Machined from corrosion-resistant 17-4 stainless steel billet

• Available with traditional Solid top or distinctive top Window cutout

Each RMR Slide for Glock® starts life as a billet of 17-4 stainless steel that is machined to Glock® factory specifications inside, so it’ll accept factory or aftermarket barrels and internal parts. Each slide is heat-treated to Rc 41-44 on the Rockwell C scale for superior surface hardness and wear resistance. RMR slides are available with a wear-resistant basic black Nitride finish, or a thin, extremely tough, good-looking physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating in other colors.

Brownells Gun Tech™ Note: Channel liner required for these slides. Channel liner is a press fit and requires a tool to install. We recommend #777-100-017.

This slide uses patented optic cut technology developed by ZEV Technologies (U.S. Patent No. RE47335).

Good but room for. . .
While these slides from Brownells are good there is room for improvement. I have bought at least 6 of these and all of them have had a burr in the safety spring hole where the plunger spring goes in. A little work with a small dremel tool took care of the problem, but a new item should not have the burr. Still a good value though.

Good for the money
I like that it has front serrations , is oem spec and is cobranded by ZEV so you know its quality and will fit oem parts without a problem. The only reason i gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because u cant use the screws from your holosun or trijicon optic. You have to use the ones that come with the slide not huge deal. They give u 2 different sized pairs. I stripped the first and remembered i had the second so it was fine. Just wish i could have used the pre-loctited screw i got with my holosun

Nice slide, but.....
I was building a GST-9 and needed an FDE slide to match. The fit was pretty good however the Glock parts are a little tight on the striker as it binds in the channel, not unusual for these strikers so I assume it will wear in with use. I wish Brownell's would offer this in something other than RMR especially in the FDE as the RMR sight is very expensive and my favorite is someone else's sight. Not clear how to convert but then again Brownell's doesn't sell an FDE cover plate for the RMR slide so I've got to either paint one myself or leave that cover black, not pleasing. I would still recommend the slide as long as you are aware of these little issues. The finish came through ok and I'm sure any small marks from transport will get added to with use so no worries there.

Great customer service.
The first slide i received didnt have one of the screw holes drilled out. I called brownelles at around 345pm they shipped the replacement out that same day. The replacement was perfect good machine quality looks good works good. I would recommend to anyone that whats a quick easy solution while yours is getting milled or just wanting a decent slide for a build.

Good slide but you NEED a seal plate
This is a good slide. You do need to install a channel liner. There are many question & answers that say you don't need a seal plate but if can see the gasket on the RMR you do. You can see in my picture that you can see the gasket. This doesn't apply the SRO since it is completely sealed on the bottom, RMR only. If you add a seal plate, the 4-40 5/16" screws provided only grab for 2.5 turns. I recommend purchasing some 4-40 3/8" screws to use with the seal plate, these will grab for 5.5 turns and not bottom out. I have a pic comparing the supplied ~5/16" vs the aftermarket 3/8" screws and a seal plate. I'm not sure if Brownells will allow external links but I found what I needed at Battle Werx. For clarification, I have zero affiliation with that company, they just had everything I needed in one checkout to complete my Brownells slide build. I would recommend this slide to anyone. It would be nice if Brownells carried seal plates and longer 3/8" screws to complete the build.

Have purchasd several of these
As the headline reads, I have purchased several of these from Brownells lately. Mainly because they are about the only slides available now. They aren't the sexiest ones out there, but they are available and they work very well. All the ones I have purchased have fit will and functioned flawlessly with no malfunctions or jams even in the first hundred rounds fired with each. I had one with an area of bad finish on the nitride coating, but it was on the RMR cut so it was covered and I didn't care. Another reviewer mentioned a problem with RMR mount screws. With my purchases, two pairs of different length screws were included. No complaint there.

Some Issues
I have now used this slide and it functioned without any issues. The issues was to get it to the point so I could use it. The problem was the hole for the extractor spring and rod was plugged with machining participial that were rather difficult to remove but I managed to remove them with a hand held drill chuck and a drill fitting the hole dimensions, it finally broke loose and came out in very fine partials. If I didn't have to clean the filling from the extractor channel it would deserve a 5 star rating. Now I just need the RMR sight that is still on back order and it will be complete.

Functionally Superb bug attracts prints
The fit and finish on the slide is really superb. It functions as expected and looks better in person than anticipated. Can't beat the price! Regarding the finish - at first the slide was amazing out of the box. After handling it and oiling the gun it started to attract prints and dirt. It basically got dirty really fast, hard to keep clean if that is of concern to you.

Great Slide, Very Deep RMR Cut
I bought both the glock 19 longslide window with RMR cut and the Glock 26 windowed with RMR cut. Both of these slides came well packed and the finish was very uniform. Both slides fit well on my pistol frames in standard holsters. I'm very happy with these but there are some things that need to be known. 1. The rear sight channel is very tight; a good sight pusher or tool is a must. I had to do some minor file work on my rear sight dovetail to get this to go in all the way. On inspection, I found that this was mostly due to a few thousandths of an inch that got taken up by the nitride finish. My experience but may not be everyone's. 2. The RMR cut is very deep on the slide. I bought Saurez 1/3rd co-witness sights, but on this slide cut, they turned out to be full co-witness on a Trijicon RMR RM04. Additionally, I also installed a Holosun 507c on my other Brownells slide and with Zev standard height sights, I have a perfect 1/3rd co-witness in the setup. This is very note worthy for those that care about back up sight picture wit your iron sights. 3. Sight radius and dot size for red dot. With these slides and the sight radius, 6.5 to 7 MOA will be almost the exact size as the front sight post width-wise. 4. If installing a batter operated RMR, I highly recommend a shorting plate underneath it. It works well to raise the optic and drop the iron sights in the window. I would have given this item 5 stars if it was not because of the pain I had installing the rear iron sight.
