Horrible NiB Coating
The NiB coating is horrible on this BCG. I only have 100 rounds though my AR since installing it and I have burns and carbon that will not come off. I even soaked it in oil for 48hrs before use like I do all my new BCGs.
2
Garbage, dont bother
I knew I wanted a NiB coating on my BCG for my new build. Was ready to invest in a well recommended BCG when someone suggested Brownells. I was told they made quality parts, it was on sale at the time so I thought why not. Fit and finish is middle of the road but this NiB coating is flat garbage. 150 rounds and I have carbon and burns that absolutely do not clean off. This coating is not up to the standard of order NiB and its a shame they sell it as such. Medium grade BCG with the phosphate coating clean up better overall. Sure it was only $90 but thats a total waste now that I need to replace it. Do yourself a favor and skip over this one.
