LONG SLIDE FOR GEN 3 GLOCK® 19

The Long Slide for Glock® 19 by Brownells lets you enjoy the benefits of a full-length G17 slide on the compact G19 frame. Extra length gives a longer sight radius for better shot placement, while also aiding in recoil control. The shorter G19 grip is an excellent option for those who carry concealed and have trouble with larger grip "printing" but are OK with the full-size pistol’s longer slide. And it aids shooters with smaller hands who find the full-sized G17 grip cumbersome.

Other features of the Long Slide for Glock® 19 include crisp, wide serrations at the front and back for a secure, positive hold when racking the slide. The "window" on the top reduces weight and enhances air flow to keep your barrel cool during long practice sessions - plus it gives your pistol a unique, futuristic aesthetic flair.

Our extended slide comes with standard factory front and rear sight cuts, so you can install any aftermarket sights that fit a Glock®factory slide.

4 stars due to no threaded barrel support

I would give this a 5 star rating, but for some reason, Brownells doesn't offer the threaded barrel for this anymore as a separate item. 4 stars because you will now have to source a threaded barrel for this from a custom shop instead of the 19LS barrel that used to be offered from Brownells.

Well made,works well, overall very good.

Assembly is SOP for a glock slide. Tolerances seem really good. Easily functioned on 3 different G19 sized frames, Gen3 and a P80. I will say that the nitride finish is not very good. It's easily scratched off and rubbed off. If you're looking for a safe queen this might not be the one for you. If however you want a nice G17 length sight picture on a G19 sized frame for carry or work this is a very nice slide. Only other issue I would mention is that this uses a G19 sized guide rod not a G17 length one.
