Recreate an American Classic with the Brownells M16A1 Pistol Grip, built to accurately replicate the original Grip issued to thousands of American servicemen & women. This Pistol Grip is modeled directly off of original grips, which are becoming increasingly difficult to find, or in decent condition. Combine the M16A1 Pistol Grip with the matching Handguard Set & Buttstock Assembly from Brownells, and you have a new condition furniture set for your AR-15, M16, M16A1 or other early model rifle. Pistol Grip includes incstruction, grip screw & washer. Available in several different colors including:

Black - Proper for Model 602, XM16E1, M16A1 & later generation rifles introduced after 1963
Green - Proper for early Model 601 rifles, the first AR-15 adopted by the US Air Force in 1959
Brown - Similar to the earliest AR-15 Prototype rifle furniture used in the late 1950s

Retro furniture from Brownells is not an exact copy of original components or their construction. Some areas have been changed due to manufacturing methods or to avoid counterfeit concerns.

Product is exactly as pictured

Added this to my Mk. 12 service match rifle, and it goes great with A1 lower. It probably isnt a perfect copy of an A1 grip but Ive only ever handled one original grip in my life. The palm swells on this are thin/non-existent compared to the original I handled and it is a fairly short grip...nothing wrong with that at all, it is high quality and will do the job. I imagine for some retro builders this will be just the ticket.

Retro build

Im using this pistol grip to finsh my build using real parts. only reason for 4 stars is because the grip isnt shiny enough to match my SP1 right next to it in the safe and the parts on the gun are shiny too. I got this one mostly because the real ones at the same or lower price point are pretty bad off. please make the grips shine more to match the real ones.
