Not for a beginner
Someone who is thinking that they will get this and in two hours will be going to go to the range and will be putting hot lead on targets, is out of their mind. It does take knowledge other than a couple of videos. It does feel better in hand than a standard Glock frame.
P80
This is a well made 80% kit. Plenty of videoes to help guide you thru the necessary steps to complete your kit. Once finnished it should last for many years. I bought mine to just shoot at the steel target range on my property. It feels great in my hand . I wear 10 1/2 size gloves. The texture is perfect for me. Not to rough or to slick. P80 has a perfect steel slide with groves on the front and back of the slide to aid in racking a round in the chamber. Brownell sells it also.
Nice Grip
First time building an 80%, slight issue with the rear rail not lining up. Just made the hole slightly bigger and it fit just fine. The front locking block rail system was out of spec. Contacted polymer 80 support, they sent a new one and it fixed the issue. Just took a few weeks to receive it. The grip and texture are awesome feeling and looks great.
