The Caldwell XLA Fixed-Model Bipod enables shooters to have a solid shooting rest built into their firearm's forend, giving them the ability to place shots accurately and precisely without the use of any external rests. The Caldwell XLA Fixed-Model Bipod is constructed from aluminum, giving shooters a lightweight addition that won't add unnecessary weight to their gun. The bipod also features adjustable legs that allow users to position the bipod on elevated or uneven surfaces.

XLA Bipod

Note: to install it, you have to have an adapter-which I DID! Ok, it was easy to install. Fits perfectly on my Radical Firearms SOCOM 223. In use, only ONE comment: the lockdown screw comes loose and has to be re-tightened frequently. Otherwise, length adjstments EZ, perfect height, light weight. Overall, I say a great deal for the $$! You can spend a lot more, and not get any better!

Fit & Function

Fits the guns I want it to and is great for my ground hog gun. Ground hogs don't like it

Good bipod

Good bipod. We have several and have never had any issues with them, they do what they are designed to do. Easy to install or remove. We use them for target shooting off a bench, they are steady and solid.
