No Pads or Cords
I am an old school rifle shooter and my (left) support arm is bent and back on the front hand guard. So, I mounted this light where my thumb naturally falls into the exact right spot to operate it. That said, the light is now part of a nice, tight, tidy and handy package. There's an excellent red dot sight on top of the rifle and the new light, at some 60-plus yards illuminated a spot down the driveway which would allow quick, positive identification of friend or foe... All-in-all, I am very happy with the set up.

The best I've found for long gun use.
After trying other lights with rotating switches or tape switches for years, I was introduced to the INFORCE design by another officer and was sold on the spot. All bright lights are bright, and this one offers a good balance between being bright enough to easily see and engage targets, including brown cardboard, at 50 or more yards while not being too bright and dazzling indoors. But what excels are its controls. The various settings are simple and intuitive to use: For example, no complicated and difficult-to-remember and execute push button sequences are required to change from momentary to constant-on, just flip a switch thats easy to use even with half-frozen fingers and wearing gloves. The activation switch is easy to press, but can be disabled to prevent an unintentional white light discharge by rotating a simple guard into place or turning the bezel. I just ordered five more for my department.

Perfect
This light was exactly as described. The color is dead on FDE, and it looks amazing on my rifle. Quality product, at a great price. Thank you!

Cost effective
I threw this on my SHTF rifle; works great, very reasonably priced, phenomenal control placement. Will buy more in the future if it holds up.

Best Weapon Light for the Money!
This is the best weapon light for the money. At 500 lumens, it is plenty bright for indoor work and has enough throw for outdoor work as well. The light it lightweight and mounts securely to a 1913 Picatinny rail. The thumb wheel is easy to adjust and doesn't work loose under recoil. I like the UI on this model. It is better than the original UI on the original WMLs. With the throw lever in the forward (down range) position, pushing the button gives you momentary (hold the button down), constant on (quickly press the button) and strobe (double tap the button). The strobe mode can also be disabled. With the throw lever in the rear, the push button is momentary only. I have found that the light can be mounted in the 12 o'clock position for truly ambidextrous use. In the 12 o'clock position, the light is low enough so that it doesn't interfere with Magpul BUIS or an Aimpoint T1 on a LaRue LT-660 mount. Again, highly recommended!
