WIPE-OUT PATCH-OUT

WIPE-OUT PATCH-OUT Reviews & Ratings

Liquid bore cleaner quickly loosens carbon, copper, brass, bronze, black powder, and smokeless powder fouling, so it can wiped out of the bore fast and easily. Simply apply with a patch to the bore surface and allow to soak, or scrub in with a bore brush to create a foaming action that attacks stubborn fouling. Spout applicator puts the preferred amount of cleaner right where you want it without waste. Contains strong corrosion inhibitors to reduce the need for protective oil. Will remove some stock finishes.

SPECS: 8 fl. oz. (237ml) squeeze bottle. Will remove varnish, shellac, lacquer, and oil finishes.

Great Product
I have been using this product and the aerosol foam version for at least two years with excellent results. I tried it in a barrel I believed to be clean and it removed more copper. Most of the time, I leave it in the barrel overnight. It works!

Nothing Better
After having used what seems to be every other product ever made to clean out the various bores in my collection, nothing works as fast and is as gentle as Wipe-Out Patch-Out. I use nothing else.

Excellent copper remover
This is all I've used in my competition rifle barrel the last few years. After cleaning the bore with Wipe Out I tried further cleaning with Sweet's, Butch's, etc., and found no more fouling. No brushing, so less potential bore damage.

Follow the instructions
I use a brush for heavy fouling,(after 500 to 1000 Rds) works great for normal maintence cleaning, Wipout Accelorater shortens cleaning time, Have run sweets in the bore after cleaning and found on copper.

BEST SOLVENT EVER CREATED BY MAN
First off let me tell you that this stuff is AMAZING! You can throw away every other solvent you own and be happy about it. When you first open the bottle you are hit with a sweet pleasant smell. Then you put some on a loose patch, get some on your fingers and maybe question whether or not this stuff is a solvent or syrup for your Sunday breakfast. Then you run that patch through the bore, make sure you coat the whole thing and take a seat because you are about to be blown away. When I pulled that 1st patch out it was 100% blue, not like a faint blue you get with some other solvents but like someone emptied an ink pen down the muzzle. Ok, so I was totally sold on just that alone.. I was so blown away that I immediately came upstairs to write this review. If you are on the fence about this product, bite the bullet and get it, you will NOT be disappointed. I took a picture of the patch

great stuff but
Works great, as stated but, don't get it on rub oil stock. It will remove the oil. Follow the instructions.

This is great stuff!
This is the best stuff I've ever used for removing copper fouling! There is no need to use a bore brush, and my wife doesn't complain about the smell because there is almost no odor. (It has a faint odor of citrus.) Just follow the instructions and your bore will come clean with very little work. The only thing to watch out for: You can be fooled into thinking your bore isn't clean if you use a brass or bronze jag for pushing patches down your bore. I don't know why, but I have this problem with some of my brass jags, but not others. The solution, if you have the problem, is to use a plastic or aluminum jag.

Brushless cleaning realised
Works as advertised. I use with the accelerator product from same company. I typically use another bore cleaner for first pass and then use a lot of dry patches to totally get that chemical out and then use these products. Don't mix this cleaner with any other. Also as Whelenshooter said in his review, if you use brass jags, the patches will almost always come out blue, indicating copper fouling. I use aluminum slotted jag for applying chemical and then Dewey jags of the appropriate caliber for pushing dry patches thru. Throw your brushes away and say good bye to scratched bores and chambers. Only quibble is that the mfr. never replied to my inquires about the products effectiveness on cupro nickel bullet fouling.
