VIPER RED DOT SIGHT

VIPER RED DOT SIGHT Reviews & Ratings

The Viper Red Dot's super-low mounting height makes it the perfect solution for handguns with cutout slides. The Viper gives shooters the simplicity and speed advantage of a dot sight, while co-witnessing with stock iron sights. The trade off? Nothing. The 6 MOA dot diameter gets shooters on target fast. Fully multi-coated, ultra-clear lens offers a wide, unobstructed field of view. The left-side up/down power and illumination controls are easy to access and manipulate. Recessed 1 MOA windage and elevation adjustments are super clean, protected from incidental contact, and always at the ready. It runs on a CR 2032 battery. The Viper comes with a Picatinny mount—weighs 2 ounces with mount.

Great sight
I installed it and a set of suppressor height night sites on my Glock adj to align red dot with sights . Went to range and within 4 shots had it zeroed ,fired another couple of hundred rounds and still perfect zero.

8,000rds and still going
Bought this for Carry Optics for and XDM 5.25. Not a single issue. Mine has been a success. On my PCC as well.

Good quality
I got the sight yesterday and mounted it. Took it to the range today and with eight rounds I had it zeroed. Cycled 70 more rounds through my target pistol and it functioned great. I found you have to press quite firmly on the brightness controls and the on/off control to change them. You have to feel the "click" to change settings. That's the only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5. Overall good optic so far.

Tried to like it
I bought this to try in the USPSA carry optic division. I like Vortex products and while it seemed like it was constructed well, it kept turning off on me. I would keep turning it on, shoot a couple of rounds and find that the dot was off. It could be just a loose battery fitting but there is no cover for the battery.
