CLEVER DESIGN, MAKES DISASSEBLY EASIER.HAD TO FILE MATERAIL FROM SLIDE PLATE. IT WOULD NOT CLEAR THE TRIGGER HOUSING / EJECTER. NOT A BIG DEAL, STILL GAVE IT 5 STARS. THIS WAS ON A GEN 4 MOD 17.
Works as advertised
Installed easily in my Brownells g17 slide. Good fit and finish and makes disassembly very easy.
Very clutch
This is a great addition to a glock. The process of removing a slide plate isn't the most difficult, but can be frustrating at times. This makes it super easy with a push of the button located on the slate plate it allows you to remove the slide plate without using tools. I removed it once installed to see how easy it would be for transferring between different designs, I was amazed, extremely easy.
No need for Additional Tools
This slide plate fits nicely on my G19 Gen 3. The push button on the back is the main highlight. It allows you to remove the slide cover easily, without tools. No need to use your punch and push down on the firing pin spacer sleeve to take the tension off the slide cover. Just push down on the button on the back and push the cover toward the bottom of the slide. A nice little upgrade. The only down side is once the cover is removed, the push button falls out since there is nothing retaining it.
Nearley worthless
Removes easily as advertised. Installs as a terribly tedious PIA.
Mine is now in the garbage.
Strike should be embarrassed to market this abomination.
