URBINO TACTICAL SHOTGUN BUTTSTOCKS Reviews & Ratings

Pistol grip stock of rugged, fiberglass-reinforced nylon polymer has a short 12½" (31.7cm) length of pull that makes it easy to shoulder and maneuver when you’re wearing body armor. The removable, five-position cheek riser helps you position your head for best alignment with an optic while maintaining a solid cheekweld. Pistol grip has ample contact surface with deep horizontal grooves for a secure grasp and excellent weapon control. Shock-absorbing padding on the backstrap helps protect your hand from recoil, while the Limbsaver® recoil pad helps reduce felt recoil. Includes a 1¼" slot rear sling loop, plus a stud on the underside for a QD sling swivel. Models available for the Remington 870, Mossberg 930 and Benelli M1014.

Nice pistol grip stock

After buying my Mossberg 930, I was in the market for a pistol stock and came upon the Urbino brand. I decide to make the purchase and since installing it, I like the feel and overall weight of the weapon. I do have, however, a bit of concern for the sling mount that is placed into the slot towards the rear of the stock. It rattles and for the intended use of my shotgun, I do not like the extra noise it makes. The choice of the other mounting point adapters (directly behind the receiver) are good to have. Overall, if it weren't for the rattling piece, I would've given this product a 5 star rating.

Urbino for a M1S90 HK/Benelli

Shortened LOP greatly improves handling; especially for average build shooters. So much better/faster to shoulder than with the OEM stock. An absolute must for the Benelli when wearing body armor. With the HK M1S90 and no optics, you don't need the cheek weld riser so now you have the ridges on each side for nothing. The rear of the pistol grip is a bit square but for me wasn't a deal breaker. Lastly, although the fit is great, there's a gap between the rear of the trigger guard and the pistol grip that doesn't effect performance but just doesn't look good either. This may only be the case for the M1S90 and not the other Benellis. Bottomline: The Urbino greatly enhances performance and that alone makes it worth it.
