Works But...
Works great after it is "broke in". Gonna be real stiff to use at first. Works better on double stack mags and some manufacturer brands work better than others.
Great product for speed
The photo on the website is assembled wrong. Once you have it right this speeds up mag loading from a tray really fast. It’s now only one of two types of speed loaders I use as my “go to”
Would you recommend this?
Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Useful and quality
These products are very useful and quality. I like these ...
One year old 4000 rounds
Great product if your hands aren't what they used to be.
Very good product!
Working like charm even with 20rd mags for my 9mm Beretta PX4!
Pretty good and works well mostly
I like to show this off to anyone that can. It loads very fast and is easy to use. It took a few tries to get it right and it will sometimes get stuck.
Pretty cool but not easy to use
These were harder to use than anticipated. However, with lots of oil, some break-in, and repeated practice, they can work great. Main con: Rounds have a strong tendency to get stuck just as they enter the top of the casing which holds the magazine. Before using the handle/plunger to push the rounds in, first make sure all the rounds are as **far down and as close to the magazine as possible** Relying on the plunger motion to get them all the way down will result in a jam 90% of the time. Also be prepared for some bruising on your chest due to repeated practice! I use a small pad now. I would recommend starting with around 5 rounds to start before moving to 10 (on the 9mm/40cal model, you can't quite fit 10 rounds on the 45acp model and get the plunger on too) In the end however, I was repeatedly able to load 10 rounds at once in my 9mm; on the 45acp it takes just two loads of 5. All in all, it does work and it's amazing to fully load a magazine in under 10 seconds! Recommended.
Good pistol mag speed loader
I use this item to load 9mm target and defense mags. It works, but is a bit more tricky to use than the similar rifle mag loader. It will run in up to 10 rds at a time, but often misfeeds the first round. It could be a mag seating issue which is a little nebulous due to the intended multi-platform design.
Great but.....
"Universal loader works with virtually all brands of pistol magazines, double or single stack" but it will NOT take 1911 mags (at least my Kimber 9mm mags) which is just slightly too long. Otherwise works well with my other 9mm double stack mags
Works well when it works
This thing works pretty well on Sig p226 mags, but I found that it won't work at all with Beretta PX4 compact mags. The issue seems to be the angle which the cartridges are presented to the magazine. On the Sig, that angle is just about perfect, and you can ram them in 10 at a time without any trouble. On the Beretta, the thing just jams before even one cartridge goes in. Looking at it with a single cartridge, the angle is such that the cartridge is not pushing into the follower when it comes down; it hits the side of the magazine.
