6-40 x .460" Weaver Oval Screws

Worked perfect for my Sig P226 Optic Ready Slide. The Trijicon mounting location uses 6-40 threads. Worked perfect with my Swampfox Justice II red dot.

High quality

High quality screws that are tough enough for scope base use.

Great screws.

Great screws for mounting a Weaver base to a Savage Axis .223, although the two front screws had to be shortened, which was easy with a Dremel rotary tool. The Torx heads are perfectly cut and the chance of rounding them is very small. That's the advantage of the Torx head over the hex, Phillips and slot head with screws this small. I would definitely recommend these screws for similar needs.

these screws are far better than factory ruger screws. no slot to deal with, torx head makes installation of the rings and scope easy and takes away the possibility of scratching the rings. not to mention the amount of torque you can apply with ease.

The screw heads did not have a taper like the one in the picture.

Do not fit Ruger rings

Bought 2 sets for my ruger No. 1 with ruger rings. The dia. Of screw is too large to fit in recess. The price is ok, but not much better than buying from Ruger and ruger screws fit. Disapointed in Brownells. But as saying goes "buyer beware."
