SUPER SABRA 2-STAGE TRIGGER PACK FOR IW TAVOR® SAR & X95

SUPER SABRA 2-STAGE TRIGGER PACK FOR IW TAVOR® SAR & X95 Reviews & Ratings

The Geissele Super Sabra was born from the combat heritage of the SSA and is a drop in replacement for the OEM trigger pack. It is a precision two-stage trigger and allows precise and accurate trigger control. The Super Sabra’s two-stage design allows the trigger to be light enough for accurate and precise shots, but forgiving enough for close quarter combat (CQB). The Geissele Super Sabra also features an adjustable first stage, which will allow the shooter the ability to fine tune the first and second stage weight distribution, without compromising the total pull weight.

The Geissele Super Sabra's housing is precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum and type 3 hardcoat anodized for a long lasting and durable finish. The Super Sabra internal components are constructed of shock and wear resistant S7 tool steel. A nitride process finish on the internal components allows further abrasion and chemical resistance.

Pairing the Super Sabra Trigger Pack with the Super Sabra Lightning Bow® will result in a pull that is truly two stage and has a match grade feel.

Amazing trigger
I installed this, along with the Geissele Super Sabra Lightening Bow Trigger, in my IMI Tavor SAR. It had a 11 to 11-3/4# trigger pull weight from the factory. This trigger took the pull weight to a crisp, consistent, 3-1/2# pull. I couldn’t be happier! Excellent trigger. Warning, replacing the trigger bow requires complete disassembly of the rifle, gunsmith installation recommended. I did not try the Super Sabra 2-stage Trigger Pack with the stock trigger bow, although that could be done.

Great upgrade for your tavor rifle
This is the trigger that should have been in the tavor from the factory. Stock trigger was between 11 and 12 lbs. This trigger dropped right in and breaks like glass at 6lbs with no adjustment to the factory setting. I'm going to shoot it some before I try to lighten it up. Probably the best upgrade for your tavor rifle!

Fit in my X95 perfectly!
This was truly a drop-in replacement. It comes from the factory with the adjustable first stage on the low pull-weight setting of 3.5 lbs. It's sweet. It took about a minute to pull the IWI pack out and put this one in. I'm very pleased.

Must have
A must have even with IWI new factory trigger packs. Not as good without the lightning bow front trigger installed. With both components easily reach MOA accuracy with my Tavor. Buying this one to put in my X95 see how she runs, but the first one was night and day with the lighting bow installed and worth every penny to squeeze the accuracy out of my weapon.

Great trigger
Dramatic improvement over the stock trigger. Decreased my group sizes significantly. Installs in a matter of minutes. Worth every dime in my opinion.

Better... but...
Tried this out for first time today in the commiefornia desert. I'll first say installation took less then 60 seconds... literally. That's a big plus. It's a nice trigger, as I've come to expect from geissele. But i think i should've shot the stock trigger more than the 100 rounds on the first day, so that i could really compare the two and see just how much better this one is. I have to say it's very different than an SSA for an AR. An SSA breaks like glass but this one doesn't give that same feel and I think it's because of the bullpup design with the trigger linkage. To me, there's a mushy feel to both stock and super sabra triggers, with too much take up. I think it's the nature of the bullpup beast. The reset is very positive and quite audible, but also kind of long. Reading other reviews that deacribe a day and night difference between this and stock leaves me wondering if I've missed something here, because I didn't have that same experience. I wish I did. Maybe I'm just not as discriminating a shooter as most? I'm still glad I bought it.
