Excellent upgrade
This trigger is much better than the factory trigger. The factory trigger is a curved and has a split in the middle of it which acts as a trigger safety. When pulling the factory trigger the bottom half has to be compressed in order to activate the trigger safety. The split in the factory trigger pinches my finger when I fire the gun. This upgraded trigger has a flat face with a bar that must be compressed in order disengage the trigger safety so the gun can fire. This feels much better on my finger. The installation of the upgraded trigger was a bit of a task but it was successful. The hardest part was in the reassembly of the gun because you have to feed the pin that holds the trigger in place because the pin has to go through the trigger return spring. It takes a bit of patience, but it's not impossible. Once the pin is properly installed the remainder of the reassembly is fairly easy. After I reassembled the gun I tried test firing the gun. I had a problem. Once the gun was cocked I pulled the trigger (the gun was empty) and the gun fired but when I released the trigger, the trigger would not go forward on its own and the trigger would not reset. To correct this I had to disassemble the gun again and remove the trigger. I then took a fine file and lightly filed the opening in the frame where the trigger is inserted, making the opening slightly wider. I reinstalled the trigger and reassembled the remainder of the gun. I again test fired the gun (empty of course) the gun fired and the trigger returned to its forward position and the trigger reset. I repeated the firing process several times and the trigger went back to its forward position and the trigger reset every time. The gun is now working properly. I then went to the range and fired 50 rounds successfully with no failures. Everything want well, as expected, and I am very happy with this trigger and it's functioning. No more pinched trigger finger. I would recommend this trigger upgrade to anyone interested in improving theier shooting.
