Exactly what I needed!
These S&W extra power springs were exactly what I needed for my mag extenders. I added the extenders and noticed I was getting squibs, so the new springs fixed the problem. Good price on Brownells and got em quick!

Mp springs
Apparently I chose mp springs thinking in MP15-22, but ordered other springs maybe for pistol, so Im still in the search for what I need. To much shipping cost to react.
True high cap
I had a taran tactical basepad that came with the extra power spring, but would only hold 19 rds. Replaced it with this spring and can now fit 23rds as stated. Not sure what the difference is, but this spring fixed the issue.
M&P Magazine Springs
Great product but shipping is too expensive.
Renewed Two Older Magazines Perfectly
I acquired an older M&P, and the previous owner had left both magazines fully-loaded for years without ever shooting the pistol. As a result, the original springs were weakened, causing failures to feed. After installing the "Extra Power Mag Spring" in each magazine, my pistol feeds all kinds of ammo flawlessly. Inexpensive and quick fix!
Thank goodness
Since S&W has, for whatever reason, chosen to leave us M&P users high and dry I had to find used mags that needed spring replacement. Thanks Brownells for this quality product. The used mags now function like the factory new mags.
Fits my M&P 9 10 round magazine
These are great springs. I could not find any springs specifically for the 10-round magazine for my M&P 9 so I bought these, hoping I could make them fit. They fit perfectly and they work even better then the stock springs. These springs do not hook into the hole on the magazine follower, but I do not see this as a problem.[...]
S&W factory carbine mags
FYI, these springs are shorter than the factory spring for 23 rd FPC and Response, just to clarify.

better than the factory!
I have been using these for the extended 45mags for a few months now and have had good results. The factory springs were designed poorly and with the taper would it would impinge on itself then bind up and become useless and it was almost impossible to get the 14th rnd in. These are more of a solid design and won't bind on themselves. I have had issue with the mags not actuating the slide catch on the last round and failing to lock back but it is still better than the factory ones binding half way through a mag. (Note: The description can be deceiving when it says high capacity. I don't think they were intended for the 14rnd 45 mags but they do work better than the factory)
spring install & function
These particular springs do not attach to the follower like the OEM springs. It appears that, because of the non-attachment, the follower does not travel all the way in the magazine and will not reach the top of the mag tube.
No other option for an extended magazine spring appears to exist on the website.
