A must have if your slide does not have

A perfect fit on my 7" slide, it matches the four screws perfectly and let me put a red dot on my 41.

works

worked for adding a ultra dot sight. can still use sights but it is not a clean sight picture as the rail is not completely below rear sight. woks in a pinch but if i was using the open sights a lot i would remove.

Perfect solution for mounting any type of optic on the S & W 41. Well made and fits correctly. You can still use the iron sights after removing your optic. Well done.

Perfect Fit

Will mount to my S&W Model 41-5.5" Heavy Barrel. Fits my Weaver style plate for my J POINT by JP Enterprises Red Dot, perfectly. Can't wait to zero in for NRA Bullseye .22LR competition. Can't see anything negative about the product and very happy it is USA made!!

Great Optic Mount Rail for the S&W M41

Perfect fit to the barrel contour of my 5.5" barrel Model 41. Easy installation, and my Aimpoint Micro with integral Weaver base mounted right up with no problems. The LSP rail has many more mounting spaces than the Weaver or Weigand bases and is very well made. It has a generous "U" channel down the middle that allow you to use the irons with the optic dismounted if you wish.

Nice, but not picatinny

I purchased this a few months ago. I was searching for a picatinny base for a S&W 41, and this appeared in the search - so, I incorrectly assumed that it was a picatinny scope base. It is a well made Weaver base. The description doesn't make mention of picatinny at all, so while this isn't what I was hoping for - it's my fault. (I wish LSP, Weaver, or another maker would make a true picatinny base for a S&W 41 as it doesn't seem to exist.)

NOT a picatinny rail

The rail seems well-made and went onto my factory-tapped model 41 barrel without issue... BUT please note that the rail is made for WEAVER rings, which has a smaller slot size versus Picatinny rails. Picatinny mounts will not even come close to fitting this rail, the slots are much too narrow. The description clearly states that this is for Weaver rings, which I overlooked as I didn't ever imagine that any mount made in today's market would fit just Weaver rings???!!! So this rail is compatible with almost none of today's popular electronic sights.

Product needs improvement.

Would never buy this product again, unless they fix the problem. I bought 2 of them but had to send them back. They fit the S&W model 41 ok, but scope rings don't tighten on the base. Not wide enough. Supposed to measure .829 across, but the two I had measured .810 to .818 end to end. I send them back, but they couldn't find one that measured what they should. I sure hope the fix the problem, because over all the product was great. It fit my 41 perfect but needs to be the right size so weaver style rings will work with it the way they said it will.
