SUPER PRECISION TRIJICON MRO MOUNTS Reviews & Ratings

The Super Precision MRO Series was developed specifically to work with the Trijicon MRO and like mounted red dot optics. These mounts are precision machined from a single piece of 7075-T6 high strength aluminum and will be available in both co-witness and lower third co-witness options.

They will also be available in black Type 3 hard coat anodize as well as the proprietary DDC (Desert Dirt Color) type 3 hard coat anodize. Utilizing Geissele’s update of the classic nut and bolt method, this mount will attach your red dot to your weapon with 1,400 pounds of clamping force, and features 3 shear lugs for maximum rigidity and return to zero.

Buy this. You won't be dissapointed

There are a lot of mounts available for the MRO, but this one is the best I've seen so far. All of the quality one would expect from Geissele. Rugged and repeatable, beautifully machined. Buy once, cry once, right?

Not actually 1/3 co-witness

While there is no doubt about the quality of this mount, it suffers from the same fatal flaw of all Geissele red dot mounts...it's not what it claims to be. Geissele claims there is no industry standards for absolute and 1/3 lower co-witness...that's because their mounts don't conform to industry standards. Geissele's 1/3 mount (1.515" from center to top of rail) is lower than the industry standard for absolute (1.52"). So while the mount itself is excellent, it's not at all what I thought I was purchasing. If it conformed to standards it would be a 5 star product.
