When you really have a stuck choke
This tool is for those seriously stuck chokes. It is basically an oversized screw extractor, you drive it in and use a wrench on it to unscrew those rusted in place choke tubes that shooters "don't know how it happened". It will damage the choke tube, but it will get it out. I have extracted choke tubes that were so rusted in place that the friction of the tube unscrewing made the barrel too hot to touch. Only ever had one choke tube I couldn't get loose with this beast, had to use a lot of heat on that one and ended up splitting the choke tube to get it out.
Stuck Choke Removal Tool, 20 Ga
Pretty much an industrial "easy out" priced fairly but Brownells has taken care to pick the optimum size for the gage. Care still must be used to not damage the barrel.
Worked well
I had an inventor DS choke tube stuck in an A5 thats about a year old. Tried everything to get the choke out to the point where wrenches wore the notches on the tube. I bought this tool as a hail mary before relenting and going to a gunsmith. It took a couple tries and tapping the tool in harder, but with a crescent wrench and a couple sharp raps with a hammer to the tool was finally able to get the tube out. No damage to barrel, choke was not any more messed than before, junking it though. You might have drive the tool in a little harder than you think. Good price shipping was good, fedex is always good.
