When I saw these I knew I had to have one. I had been eyeing a complete KAC rifle for years but couldnt rationalize the $3000+ price tag. This complete lower half for under $900, while twice what a nice quality lower can be purchased for, seems like a real bargain. Almost every part is made in house and signed KAC. I already have a rifle I built on a standard (non-ambi) stripped KAC lower receiver. And while that one has the NAME and is no doubt a top quality mil-spec forged lower it really isnt any different than the $69 ones. This one is another story. With ambi mag release, ambi bolt release, ambi safety, KAC 2-stage trigger, killer KAC trigger guard, dual rear QD sockets and more, this lower is the closest thing you can get to what the most elite units in the world use. I got mine just over a year ago and it came with an LMT SOPMOD stock instead of the Magpul unit. While top quality, it is just about the only part not made by KAC. Over the last year I have been gathering parts for my ultimate upper. It will have a 10.3 barrel and Geissele 9.5 rail, and other top of line parts. If you appreciate quality AR15s, you deserve to get yourself one of these for your next build.
