Pure, natural-cotton, flannel patches hold solvents, soak up crud and crap and get oils into the grooves better than any other kind of patches made. (Not like the synthetic patches, which are less absorbent…they literally slide right over the fouling!) We know you'll like these. So, if you use more than a small box or two of those "other patches" a year, you'll save money and clean a whole lot better with these bulk paks of 1000 natural cotton flannel patches - just like the ones you used to get as a kid. Handy little wipe around the shop, too. Super for oiling, wiping, cleaning, cold bluing, etc.

Very Useful

These patches are a good bargain when bought in bulk this way. They are thick enough to effectively deal with solvents (apply or remove) and can fit a wide range of calibers with a proper jag tip.

They work as needed

I use these patches for all my 22 caliber pistols, from bullseye, steel challenge and self defense. There just the right size and are easy to work with. The material is vary good, durable and I would recommend. There the best value and quality for the price. If you shoot a lot, clean a lot these patches will get you thru a cleaning session satisfied.

Nice patches

Been using these for years to clean 6mm barrels. With a jag they're tight for scrubbing, but not too tight. If I want a bit looser, I'll use a .22 jag to leave more solvent in the barrel for soaking.

Good Patch

A quality patch that will sorta pull apart if you try to put them in a loop tip fast. Maybe a problem too small to even mention. For jags works perfect. I have used many different patches, and feel this is as good as any and very consistent in construction. As of now it is my preferred patch.

Perfect if you buy one size down!

Just the right roughness, great absorbency, low lint. With my BoreTech jags, I've learned that they are just the right size...IF I buy one size smaller (7/8" for.224 barrels, 1-3/8" for 6.5mm and .308 barrels).

Perfect Size When Used With a Jag

These are quality patches and run true to size/caliber. I use a Dewey rod and .22 caliber jag to clean my .223/5.56 rifles and these patches fit snugly in the bore. They offer just the right amount of resistance when pushing the rod through the bore and are great for cleaning and oiling. They don't come apart at the edges, readily absorb solvent and oil, and distribute them evenly. FYI - The 30 cal. patches teamed with a 30. cal Dewey rod and 30 cal Dewey jag also are a perfect fit in all my .30 cal rifles.

these 2-1/2" patches have few strings or lint are a good fit on a Dewey 50cal jag or with a Brownells heavy duty nylon brush as I use for cleaning and wiping between shots when shooting my Badger Barreled CSharps Arms Black Powder Cartridge Rifle in 50-2.5" (aka Big50 Sharps)

Great Patches

I like these patches, nearly lint free and very few strings, the 1-3/8" on a Dewey 6.5mm jag are a perfect fit in my 6.5mm.... I hunt, shoot competitively, collect and some gunsmith work

Time saver

I clean and repair countless firearms. These patches are perfect for 12, 16 and 20 ga. shotguns. Cutting my own would take forever.
