grip extension for XD9 subcompact
This grip extension is a HUGE improvement. I carry concealed daily and shoot USPSA & IDPA on a regular basis. This grip extension does not interfere w/concealment and the difference in grip comfort and control cannot be overemphasized. Hard to understand why this grip extension is not standard equipment. There are no negatives other than cost. I would like to equip several more magazines with this extension but the cost is prohibitive; $10 a pop is OK for one mag for carry, but outfitting several mags would be quite spendy.
Excellent addition
Installed these on my nine round flush fit magizines. They performed exactly as advertised. I definitely got increased comfort and control. I iwould highly recommend these for all subcompact handgun owners.
Exactly as advertised
I was looking for better grip / control when shooting my .45 3.8" XDm with the smaller magazine and purchased this grip extension. Easy to install, fit my hand / grip perfectly. My shooting accuracy is improved. The wife likes it as well
Great Add On
Adds space for pinky, and helps manage recoil. More contact with the grip, and allows faster follow ups. Necessary? No. But I love mine. Caveat: When concealing, the grip prints more. But that's a duh.
Awesome product
I just installed the Pearce Grip on my wife's XDS. It was very simple to install and took less than a minute to install on two magazines. It was a lot cheaper than buying an extended magazine just to increase the grip length. It decreases follow up shot intervals and ensures total control which in turn increases safety.

A place for my pinky
These Pearce grip extensions for the Springfield XDS .45 work just as they are intended. There is now a place for my pinky finger to make solid contact with the pistol. They were simple to install on the magazines as Springfield made removing the base place easy. I'm hard pressed to come up with a negative. OK, they aren't free. Buy enough for all of your 5 round mags. You should not be disappointed.
Makes for a perfect fit
This is the goldilocks solution for my compact XDm. The extended mag is too long for concealed carry and the compact mag leaves my little finger with nothing to hold on to. I can now say what I've heard so many times about the XDm, it's like it was made for my hand.
I would put one on EVERY compact mag
Adds just enough length to completely change the feel and control of the weapon. I have used it for several months on my XDm-9 and will put one on every compact mag that I get for this gun.
