Very happy with purchase

I looked at used stocks, however for literally a few dollars more this stock was a great choice. Although not cheap, it is a good value in my opinion vs. hit or miss with used. Perfect fit and looks great. Has a much better feel than the synthetic stock. Brownells shipping was fast and packaged well. For extra protection, I added a couple coats if finish followed up with a couple coats of wax. It came out great.

Beautiful, quality, easy installation

It looks better than the pictures do it justice. Absolute game changer for the aesthetics of the gun. It was incredibly easy to install and required no custom fitting. Shipping was fast; got here two days earlier than expected.

Just wow

Wow wow wow, thank you Brownells. I didnt find this until I lost an auction for the exact same stock which sold for about $50 more. Bought this immediately. Arrived very well packed, came with all metal parts, was an instant drop in for my Scout that came with a synthetic stock. Grain pattern is absolutely beautiful, fit SUPER tight too which I personally loved, did not require any fitting at all however, just a little gentleness and it was ready to go in minutes. I am very grateful to Brownells for providing this product at this price, it speaks volumes to the type of company they run. Id buy 10 more if I could. Totally in love! Thanks folks!

M1A wood stock by SA

I was a little hesitant to spend this much money on a replacement stock for my M1A loaded. I'm okay with a synthetic stock on my Mini 14, but I like walnut on my M1A, M1 Garand and M! Carbine. So I ditched the black FG stock and was surprised to see that this new stock just dropped right in without any fitting. It was, however, very tight and took a couple of attempts but I actually think that is a good thing. Already applied two coats of BLO. I an very happy with thid SA stock from Brownells.

Nice stock

The stock was delivered in perfect shape and fit my M1A Scout very well. It took all of 2 minutes to remove the synthetic stock and install this wooden one. The finish is darker than that of my walnut handguard, so Ill have to spend a little time getting them to match. I am pleased with the purchase overall.

Perfect fit for my SOCOM 16

Bought this to replace the standard black synthetic stock on my SOCOM 16. Took less than a minute to swap it out without any fitting. Its a little tighter fit than the synthetic, but I like that. Rifle wasnt cheap to begin with, but now feels more substantial, and seems to be more accurate.
