varmint 22
When you have the porduct it is just what I ordered
Great varmint bullet
This bullet has definitely worked better on coyotes for me then the vmax!
Accurate
I've used Hornady bullets for the last 18 years never a problem from AR to bolt actions from 556 to 300 win never a problem
Excellent hunting/plinking in all my gun
Excellent in my 22-250 for coyotes and Prairie dogs. Also starting to use in my AR and at 12 cents apiece these have proven the best overall to plink and hunt with. These bullets have always been very accurate in almost every gun I have tried them in. Overall, can't beat them when you consider cost/value/availability. I have traded half my purchase with friends and now we are all stocked up!
Top Quality Product
This S.P.pill is designed to stop living targets humanely. Works better for that purpose than any FMJ or OTM. Accuracy in my 16" barrel with 1:8 twist is 1.0 MOA which is totally adequate out to 300 yards. Can't think of any cons. Great customer service and speed of shipping.
consistent
Running these in a Henry long ranger, reloading in a Lee Classic Cast Iron press. Excellent finish, consistent weight and diameter. No problems loading or shooting. Should have bought more.
Looks good, unexpectedly boat-tailed
I love the Hornady SP W/C from the 100-packs and FMJ-BT W/C bulk pack in 55 grain and these are unexpectedly SP-BT W/C. I have zero problem with this, haven't been able to fire any yet due to the lockdowns. If these don't perform as well as the others, I'll update, but as far as I can tell these look to be of just as good quality as the others.
Best buy in reliable consistent accurate
If you are reloading and want round to round consistency with accuracy this is your go to round. I have loaded thousands and the the results are the same from the beginning to the end. Nice varmint round as well.
great bullet at a great price
I bought a box of 6,000 of these from a different source a few months back for varmint shooting at the family farm. They are great, very accurate and deadly, I shoot 5.56 AR-15, 223 AR-15 target model and a 222 Magnum in a Sako Vixen. they all love these bullets. I will be getting a box of these while they are on sale, you can never have to many bullets.
Superb accuracy at an unbeatable price
Ordered these in a 1000 round bulk pack after reading reviews and getting a great sale price. Easily attained sub 1/2 MOA accuracy in my 1-12" twist .223 Rem. bolt gun using near max charges of RL-15. These bullets have a relatively short ogive that I would describe more as a cone than Hornadys usual sleekly curved Secant Ogive. Seating .005" off of the lands gave me an OAL of 2.185". This translates to lots of bearing surface to these bullets. The cannelure was consistent and in the right location for my rifle... not that I crimp but the cannelure does not detract from accuracy or BC. Terminal performance is not explosive. These preform more like a big game bullet, mushrooming to a relatively large diameter, holding together and retaining a high percentage of their weight. Expect large exit holes on coyote sized game. On smaller varmints, such as jackrabbits, hitting bone is required for positive expansion. For the price, I don't think you can buy a better bullet if this type of performance fits your purpose.
