Light weight!
Great price for a proven performance light weight plate.

FAR Better Than Steel Plates
The curvature and fairly light weight aspect of these plates combine for a high level of comfort compared to other plates. They replaced some steel plates in a Mayflower APC, and there is a night and day difference in comfort. I havent tested the ballistic protection stated, but I trust it would live up to the claims. They are a lot more expensive than steel, but they are definitely worth it. If youre thinking about ordering these, just do it!

Great Plates
These plates are thin, lightweight and the multi-curve design make them quite comfortable. FYI they are 10x12 shooters cut and weigh 6 lbs. each. I

Great Fitting Plate, Poor Packaging
5/5 for the plates. Honestly some of the best fitting Special Threat plates out there. Velocity Systems is a trusted brand in the industry, and I trust their threat rating. I am docking 2 stars for how poorly they were packaged. Ceramic plates, while not overtly fragile, still need to be treated with some care, and having them arrive in a box that was almost falling apart, with ZERO padding or dunnage besides a token effort of paper is very, very disappointing. Without access to an x-ray, I cannot verify if they are compromised or not, but re-stock is several months out and I'm not willing to wait for an exchange. Brownells needs to seriously re-examine their packing procedures for items such as these.
