Nice quality
These snap caps seem to be well made; nicely machined, well anodized, and the primer "buffer" is holding up well. I've had no problem cycling them through several pistols, with no visible wear so far. I think they're a great way to practice dryfiring, and I use them to relax the striker spring when in storage.

A-ZOOM BLUE 9MM SNAP CAPS
I was looking for blue snap caps from several different sites and found them at Browells in 9MM. This brand fits perfect and ejects with no problems from a Hellcat Micro Compact 9MM pistol. I plan to buy another 10 pack for storing and training. Buy Two!!

Great product
These snap caps are a perfect match for standard .40 S&W FMJ ammo. They cycle just like you would want them to when preforming a function check.

Best option for dry-fire practice
I've got a number of A-Zoom snap caps for my various firearms and I'm always happy with them. You can hear a difference between a true dry fire and dry firing with the snap caps, so it seems like the rubber primer insert does effectively cushion the firing pin. The aluminum that they're made out of is soft enough that it won't damage your gun, but still hard enough that they feed like normal cartridges. The rims will eventually get chewed up from the extractor, but it takes a long time. I think these are the best option out there for snap caps.

Poor QC, failure to feed
Tested these on a couple 80% builds with OEM Glock magazines and PMAGs. All sorts of FTF and wouldn't reliably go into battery. Upon examination, seven of the ten rounds had the little primer/shock absorber protruding, which was causing the cycling issues. Also tested with my Glock 34 with and had similar results. Repeated cycling also chews these up pretty quickly. The photo shows two that are acceptable, one is questionable and the rest are out of spec/defective. I'm thinking I can trim these down flush with a Xacto knife to correct the manufacturing defect. I like these becuase they come in a 10 pack, so you can load a magazine bit I'm thinking the ones with the inner springs are better.
