SMITH & WESSON SIGHT NUT SPANNER

SMITH & WESSON SIGHT NUT SPANNER Reviews & Ratings

SMITH & WESSON SIGHT NUT SPANNER 2 PACK

MAGNA-TIP®
Bit, made to fit the windage nut that secures the S&W rear sight leaf. To use: Drill out staking, hold nut with Spanner and unscrew the screw. To install: Hold new nut with Spanner and seat screw. Always turn the screw; never the nut. Because it is fragile, and can break if you turn it, the Spanner is not guaranteed against breakage.

SPECIFICATIONS:
  • 2 Hardened Steel MAGNA-TIP Bits
  • Purposely Shaped for S&W Rear Leaf Sight Windage Nut
  • Length: 1-1/4"
  • 1/4" Drive

It works, but...
It could be ground for older nuts, but dressing a screwdriver for proper fit is no big deal. All it took was a couple of passes each side on a whetstone to get the tips of the bit to fit the nut.
