We designed our Lightweight Rest for shooters who needed a lighter, more economical option to a standard weight cast iron rest tripod. The Lightweight tripod is machined aluminum, and the leg screws and T-handle are lightened to produce a weight savings of over 11 pounds from our standard rests. These Lightweight rest are ideal for F-Class shooters, field shooters, sight in sessions and plinking. Our Lightweight Rests accept all Sinclair rest tops and accessories including F-Class extended leg screws and Speed Screw.

Front bag not included.

The Sinclair Benchrest (B/R) Lightweight Rest is for shooters who prefer using Protektor or Edgewood owl ear style front sandbags (Edgewood front bags require additional screw kit). This rest with a number 1 Protektor front bag (#723-100-001) is perfect for sighting in most hunting rifles, when equipped with a number 2 Protektor front bag (#723-100-002) this rest works great for sighting in varmint rifles or AR rifles of any format. Equip this rest with the number 2 or 3 (#723-000-007) Protektor front bags along with the F-Class extensions and F-Class rest feet (#749-003-699) and you have a great set-up for shooting Open F-Class.

Quality Rest

Truly a fine piece of engineering and machining. With all the money I've spent on fine guns it is a pleasure to own this rest. I am using this on a bench which I have right out my front door in Alaska. In my opinion this rest is worth 100.00 more then I paid. Buy it !!

Beautifully Made... Very Solid

The build quality and attention to detail are impressive. Each piece is precisely made and nicely finished. No problems putting it together. It was packaged well... Double boxed... and individual pieces were bubble wrapped. Definitely two thumbs up.

Simple but effective

The parts are nicely machined, and easy to assemble. For the price it is unbeatable. It is very stable, light, and unless you are in high level competitions perfect for bench shooting. Only con is the forend post and stop are not included, and they will not sell you the post. I had one machined (10mm stainless turned to 1/4-20 thread 4-1/2" oal). Works perfect with Protektor bags.

Expectations Exceeded

I was surprised by the quality of this rest. Very well machined. Incedentals such as black coating on the parts, packaging, and instructions also excellent. And top of the line service from Brownells shipping dept. Outstanding. This front rest will become a family heirloom -- it's that good.

great lightweight rest.

I use this rest when going to a public shooting range,it is light enough to carry with the other shooting equipment, but this rest will serve almost as well as a heaver competition rest, without the added weight. lots of adjustment, very well built. well worth the money.

Very good, but...

I use the rest for smallbore benchrest shooting. It is very good for this. The adjustments are sufficient for 50 - 100 yards. The only downside was lack of bolts for the legs. I had to go to the local hardware store for those items, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
