Great Stuff!
The Burris Zee Signature rings work well with Weaver-style bases. The Signature inserts make it so a person doesn't need to lap rings to reduce torque on the scope tube. Most people would be surprised at how often standard rings induce internal pressures in a scope. I've seen it many times when the power ring on a variable scope worked fine, until mounted in standard rings. Then it became very dificult to turn the power ring. This is due to misalignment of the rings. This NEVER happens with Burris Signature rings! The only down side to Burris Zee rings: When you tighten the screw to attach the ring to the base, one side is actually bent to hold the ring to the base. This makes it much harder to remove the ring from the base. Zee rings are for a permanent mount; they are NOT to be removed and replaced from their bases regularly. (Hint: Before you tighten the ring to the base make sure you put some oil on the screw threads so they don't sieze up before they are tight. Also, use a torque wrench so you don't overtighten.)
