MGW Sight-Pro tool
I have several MGW pistol sight installation tools which are specific to only certain pistol makes and models, but wanted a tool which could be used with many. I also have a tool by another maker which is designed to use with many different pistols, but this tool absolutely does not work with some pistols. It even fails to keep some slides level while using the tool, making it unusable.
The MGW Sight-Pro tool is everything I was looking for. It is heavy steel, and uses different "shoes" to hold pistol slides in place by fitting inside the rails of the slide to hold them firmly in place. This is a necessity.
In addition, the MGW Sight-Pro has plastic side support tabs to protect the sides of a slide from damage from contact with the metal tabs which screw against the sides of the slide. These tabs are replaceable if you damage them.
So far, I've removed and replaced the sights of S&W M&P pistols, Sig Sauer P320 pistols, and FN-S pistols with the tool with no problems either removing or replacing front and rear sights. It even has a feature which prevents the operator from installing the tool too low onto a sight, which will damage the top of the pistol slide.
Spend some extra to get this tool, I have not found a better tool for the job at any price.

Rock Solid Product!!
Not complicated to use, solid on the sights, easy on the slide. No flex and give, robust build. It came with the two sight blocks I needed. It is more expensive than the competition, but worth it. I did purchase on sale, and with Labor Day discount. So, it was easier on the wallet.

MGW Sight Pro
Ordered the Sight Pro to adjust the factory sights on two Colt Combat Commander’s. These are the newer XE model Colts. The dovetail sights on these things are extremely tight from the factory.
I set up the Sight Pro in the bench vise and put the first slide in and locked it down. Triple checked the tool and slide alignment, put some pressure front sight, and checked alignment again. Began turning the rod handle until it was uncomfortably tight and nothing. Rechecked everything, then gave it some more pressure, and then a big pop and the sight moved. Same thing on the back sight. It was even more tight and had a bigger pop when it moved. I took the slide out of the Sight Pro and inspected for any marring. The finish on the slide and sights was perfect. The next slide was the same deal and no marring to the slide or sights as well.
The Sight Pro worked perfectly and highly recommend it for adjusting or removal of the factory sights on these newer Colts. This thing might be more expensive than the other pushers but well worth the price. It’s the only one you will ever need. It works perfectly and didn’t marr the finish on my slides which a cheaper pusher could do and cost you time and money for refinishing.
Just remember to follow the directions, watch the video MGW has for it, and check your set up a couple of times before cranking on the handle. Take your time to make sure it is set up right!

I've had the MGW Pro Sight Pusher on my wish list here for at least 3 years. I've always meant to get around to buying once, crying once and having it done and over with. All the positive and raving reviews on this bad boy are 100% accurate. It's heavy duty gage steel and you can not only see the quality, but you'll feel it too. I replaced some sights on a Glock 17 as well as a 43x already, and it was a breeze. Go ahead and purchase this one fella's. It's the real deal. My old sight tool is 25 years old, things have changed. I've had the MGW for a few weeks now. Very happy with this so far. Holds slides allot tighter and is more controllable than my old one.

I had been using punches to move my sights and decided to try this tool instead. This tool is exactly what I needed. It is very easy to use and is so much better than using punches to adjust sights. I am not a gunsmith but I could see how this tool would be a good investment if you do a lot of sight work. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Worked perfectly
I received a CZ Czechmate for Christmas. It was set up with normal sights but I wanted to install the slide ride and compensator instead. No home remedies would remove the rear sight. I just could not bring myself to hit a $3,000 slide with a brass punch and hammer. After much reading and viewing of reviews I purchased the MGW sight pro and CZ75 slide plate. Had the rear sight off and replaced with the racking handle in under 10 minutes. As the gun is intended for two shooting disciplines it just seemed wise to buy the best sight tool I could as the sights may be changed out from time to time. Great product that performed exactly as advertised.
