Works with 43X after some light tinkering
Slide dimensions between the 43 and 43X are slightly different in regards to overall width apparently, so the wings on the adapter unit will not fit a 43X slide, but the baseplate will. So I ditched the adapter unit with the wings, kept the baseplate and tinkered with what shims I had in order to get just the right height and tight lockup, from there it was smooth sailing.
Sight tool
Works exactly as it should. Quality construction. Exact fit to sight tool and pistol slide. Recommend for anyone who has the 309 tool and is changing out sights on a Glock 43.
Can adapt this Adapter for Glock 43X
I bought this to install night sights on my Glock 43X. The slide on the 43X is too wide for this Adapter unit, but the base of the slide fits fine on the Adapter base plate. I had to disassemble the adapter and use pieces of it to fit the Glock 43X slide (no machining necessary). It was not that complicated- if you are competent enough to replace a rear sight on a Glock, you can figure it out.
Perfect Add-on to the MGW309
I purchased this so that I could install sights on my G42. It was easy to swap out adapters on the MGW309 tool, and worked just like it should. The fit up to the slide was absolutely perfect and held securely during sight removal/install. The only downside is that this has limited applicability. Literally, 2 guns. And, I don't foresee owning more than 1... and I'm pretty sure I won't be swapping out my new sights again anytime soon. Having said that... My gunsmith charges $45 to install sights. So, based on that aspect alone, this was a good investment. Even if I only ever use it once. If I use it ever again... even just once, I'll be getting a return on my investment.
Glock 42/43 Sight adaptor tool.

Great Tool for a Glock Guy
This product works perfectly. I highly recommend this for any MGW rear sight tool owner that has a Glock 42s or 43s.
Works Well, Only Fits MGW
I used it on a MGW sight press to remove and install a rear sight on a Glock 43. It worked quite well. There are instructions for setting up for both the Glock 42 and the 43. Make sure the silver shim is in place or I imagine you would scratch the top finish on the slide. NOTE: This adapter DOES NOT fit either the old or new Glock sight tools. The stud that goes through the sight tool is too large for the old Glock tool, and the new Glock tool is totally incompatable with this item. It fits the MGW tools, as described. ALSO NOTE: I installed a TruGlo TFX rear sight with the MGW angled sight press and it installed without a problem. You don't need the "straight side" MGW press for the steel TruGlo sights.
A perfect addition to my MGW 309's
Owning eight Glocks and being a serial sight changer I have purchased both the straight and angled 309's. After purchasing a G-43 I was relieved to see MGW had manufactured this add-on. Within minutes I moved my rear sight and will try it out tomorrow. To the other reviewers: You can believe you have fully seated everything including the lower washer on the G-43 setup but if the slide is still loose you have not. Loosen the setscrew, fiddle with the washer and you will see it fully seat. The slide will tighten up nicely. And yes, the other bracket provided is for the G-42 as the instructions indicate. I have uninstalled and installed dozens of straight and angled rear sights with the MGW 309. Orient it correctly, have the shim installed if need be (always check the clearance before cranking on it), oil it before every use. It has always perfectly worked for me and will last far longer than I will. CAUTION: Orient all the pieces you use per the photos on your instruction sheet and while referencing the appropriate model Glock. The online photo is confusing, especially if you are working on a G-43.
add some washers for the g 43.
The g43 slide will not lock down, the washer isn't fat enough without adding more under it so the knurled knob locks tight. I have the MGW tool with Brownell's p/n 584-045-017 without any suffix after the p/n, so my mover tool might be slightly different from the 309 part. My tool is black and has no p/n on it or the instructions that came with it, so I'm not exactly sure if it's the very same mover. It was for glock sights though. Works fine after adding some spacer washers underneath.
