Best upgrade for p320
Better then expected. Dropped trigger pull by about a third. Think glock with three pound connector. Take up was reduced by half. Wall and reset are much crisper then original. Very easy to install dont recommend but I did install it while sitting in my car before going in the range with nothing more then a glock punch. Is significantly better then any x series guns I have shot. Would highly recommend for anyone not wanting to spend hundreds on professional trigger job.
Wilson Combat grip
Works great with the full size Wilson Combat grip. I'm very happy with the performance and the YouTube video explaining the installation is excellent and easy to follow.
Second time is a charm
Installed and reviewed this about 2 years ago on a Pre-upgraded gun, was not totally happy as it did not reduced the trigger pull by much. I eventually removed it and sent the gun back to Sig for the trigger mod. Waited another year after I got it back from Sig and finally put it back it. What a difference! It lighteded the pull by about a pound, and the pre-travel and reset were shortened by more than 50%. Very impressed. Install was simple, and there are several Youtube video that could walk you through.
Best Trigger upgrade I've ever had
I put this in my voluntary upgraded P320 40S&W full size that came back with a squishy feeling trigger pull. Now the reset is crisp and short. With only an eighth of an inch reset. It consistently pulled at 5 pounds in a Lymon trigger pull gauge. I would recommend this to anyone for a P320 upgrade. Note won't work with manual safety models.
Solid Upgrade
Easy to install using Apex Video. Works in my Standard, X-Grip, and Polymer 80 grip module. Not a huge change in trigger feel for me but a big improvement in travel and reset. My trigger was not sloppy or super mushy to begin with so others may experience a bigger improvement.
DOESN'T lighten trigger P320 X5 Legion
This is a great trigger. It substantially reduces take up, creep, over travel and reset quite spectacularly. However, it is advertised as a 5.5 lb trigger on the Apex web site. It is noticeably heavier than the factory trigger on the P320 X5 Legion. So much so, that I will be trying another trigger. I prefer a lighter trigger on a competition gun.
Improved trigger
It did improve the trigger break and reset, but didn't notice much in reduced trigger weight. I don't have a gauge to identify pull weight differences other than switching back and forth with my other 320 stock trigger. Install was easy other than that trigger spring, it takes a little patience. I'll decide to buy another after I shoot a few hundred with this one.
Makes a good trigger pull better
Works as described in the product listing (second-gen drop-safe trigger). Makes a good (striker-fired) trigger break even better. I don't use flat-blade trigger shoes and the shallow curve on the Apex is very good and comfortable. I will use these if I get another SIG. Fitted on a full-size 320 with X-grip:
Out of spec / Made it work
Like Ben from TN posted in his review, my trigger bar was .009 thicker where the trigger pivot engages trigger bar. Also like his picture shows, this tolerance difference means the trigger will not seat far enough into FCU to allow rotation needed to get the trigger bar into the sear housing. Maybe not for everybody on what is supposed to be a drop in part, but I was able to make it work by hand filing .005 from inside and outside of part and then polishing back to a shine. Also like his review, I received a chrome trigger bar instead of the nitride one shown in picture. Apex part is absolutely great, if your willing to hand fit it to your application if necessary.
Does Not Fit
purchased 'Apex Tactical 112-032' for a 'Sig Sauer 320F9M17MS'. trigger bar hole end thickness: Sig .060 vs Apx .070 ; trigger tab end thickness: Sig .054 vs Apx .059. the Apex set is .015 thicker, the trigger will not seat back in the module. email recieved from Apex contained pointless questions about the parts. nothing addressing the fact the parts are out of tolerance. see my attached:
