High quality threaded barrel for Sig P226
I actually haven't shot the new barrel yet but the quality/finish appears to be equal to or better than OEM. It does come with a thread protector too.

Sig 226 replacement barrel
Perfect fit, great quality
Great Barrel
Bought this to replace the barrel that came with my P226 Legion. I will be mounting a SilencerCo Osprey 9 To it whenever my approval comes back This barrel did come with a thread protector. Fit and function is excellent. Put a few rounds through it over the weekend and accuracy appears to be the same as the original barrel. So far Im please with it.
Great replacement barrel
Bought this to replace a .40 cal barrel in my P226 to change over to 9mm. Barrel swapped right in with no fitment necessary. The finish on the barrel is outstanding. Haven't tried it on the range yet, but I can't imagine any issues will come up.
Drop in ready for P226 .40 S&W
Bought this barrel to replace the .40 S&W sig barrel that came with my Sig P226 Elite. It dropped in without any fitting needed and shot several boxes of 9mm without any hangup. Shot better than the .40 but that might be down to me. However, the edges of the barrel is rough/sharp. It might need some sanding to smooth out the edges so it doesn't quickly wear off finish or material from the Sig's slide. Also, the feed ramp came with a blemish/chip in it.
Not exactly drop in
When slide reassembled and you rack the slide or press check it would fail to go back into full battery about 1/8 to 1/4 inch or so unless you forced it. So after trying to figure it out I took it apart and noted rough areas under backside of feed ramp and sides of chamber. After sanding down a bit and some mothers polish then reassemble it now works fine with no hang up . Now goes back into full battery upon racking or press checking. Still beats the cost big time of a Sig Sauer threaded barrel which is over 100.00 bucks more expensive, and positive note that the threads are more common for most silencers. Thanks for the great pricing.
Not complete.....
I ordered this barrel after checking the Q/A's which someone asked if this comes with the cap for protecting the barrel threads. It was answered by Brownells that yes indeed the thread protector is included. A quick check on Silencerco website also says all barrels come with a thread protector. I have seen some say they didn't get one with the barrel, and you can add me to that list. Needless to say a quick call to Brownells, and they sent me a generic cap to replace the one that isn't included. The replacement is a larger knurled nut with no o-ring. It will do for now, but keep in mind you may need to pony up another $20 to get a protector.
