Midwest Ind side folder
The side folder is great. The 1913 connection clamp is sturdy and robust which is what I was looking for. Once broken in, the side folder opens and closes with ease.
Perfect for using conventional adjustable stocks.

Works great with a BRN-180 lower!
I'm using this on my BRN-180 lower and it works great! The lock-up when deployed is solid, and it folds easily out of the way to make the rifle more compact when necessary. Solid and sturdy construction. The cap on the back end for storage is a nice tough, but you will need to remove your stock to use it, unless your stock has a cut out. Not a big deal, but it is worth mentioning.
Tough and heavy but worth the money
Using this to build a lower for an angstadt MDP-9 build and a BRN-180 build. Product is built tough and feels very solid. Folder is a little stiff but there is no worries about it backing out on you. Folding mechanism is contained and leaves the user with the feeling of reliability. Worth it for any AR style build with a contained recoil system.

Great side folder option
I have been waiting for this item after many months and it is a very solid design. The ability to put a normal Milspec stock on a folder is a great option instead of a couple other variants on the market. it also has a very position lock up in the folded and non folded position.
MI hits a home run for my needs!
It has help make my Ruger PC-Charger Glock magwelled 9MM nearly complete. MI is also the maker of my Ruger PC 9MM Carbine. A tad heavy but the grandson will appreciate the durability.

Good, with a minor glitch
Excellent. Installed quickly following the instructions on line. I couldn't fold the unit until I applied CLP lubricant and let it soak in for 48 hours. Since then no problems. Works with Magpul stock.
Meh...
The design is great, the execution is incredibly underwhelming, as is typical of Midwest Industries. It locks up solid in the unfolded position. Lock up in the folded position is acceptable. The tube portion is under sized. All of my mil-spec stocks fit loosely with a lot of rattle, including three Magpul CTRs. I won't return it but I won't be buying this product again or recommending it either.
