CLEANING ROD GUIDES FOR SHOTGUNS

Machined Delrin® rod guide ensures correct alignment of the rod and prevents the rod from contacting the barrel walls and possibly causing damage. In use, the guide slips onto the cleaning rod before installing the brush or mop, then it’s inserted into the chamber end along with the tip of the rod. Safe to use with cleaning solvents or lubricants, and cannot scratch or mar the chamber in any way.

Models available to fit 12, 20, and 28 gauge, plus .410 bore. The Extended 12 gauge guide has an extra 5" of length and is used for semi-auto and pump gun barrels with long extensions.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Delrin, white.
All guides are 2" (5.1cm) long, except the Extended 12 Gauge Guide, which is 5" (12.7cm) long.

Best shotgun guide on the market

I have been using this guide for a year for my O/U. It is outstanding. The only issue is I have been trying to by 2 more for my son and his father in law and has been out of stock for 8 months. Come on Brownells, you can do better than that!

ID is too small for brass rod

The guide ID is too small for the chuckable brass rod. Use a Dremel with silicone barrel shaped grinding tool to enlarge the ID. A drill will not work since it will bite into the guide and spin it in a vise.

870 users buy the extended guide!

this short bore guide will not work for Remington 870 barrels if you are cleaning the proper way: from breech to muzzle. The extended lip of the barrel will not facilitate the size of the bore guide. The extended model will work.
