Well worth the price if you are working on 870
This tool is well worth the price if you are working on Remington 870. Many a time I've seen folks trying to reach the stock bolt with pieces from 4 or 5 different socket kits. Got this one on a long extension and it just reaches in, fits, loosens, and removes the bolt in a snap.

Like Magic
Its a pricey specialty tool, but well worth it. Successfully removed a stuck 1965 1100 buttstock bolt with this bit coupled with a 3/8 breaker bar. First I treated the bolt with Liquid Wrench and then applied heat to it via a solder iron for a few minutes. With the shotgun receiver held between my legs (padded vice is ideal), I then used this bit/breaker bar and applied moderate force to finally turn it free. The bolt bit has a blade within the socket that fits the bolt perfectly, providing solid and slip free control of the bolt. No risk of slipping and cracking the stock. Worth the price.

Right tool for the job
The other reviews are spot on. This simple tool makes buttstock replacement simple. Every 1100 owner should have one in their toolbox.

On target!
This fits any standard ratchet wrench, and it worked perfectly to remove my stock on my Remington 11-87.

Works on 11-87 too!
Purchased this to remove the wooden stock of my 11-87. Took 30 seconds vs. the time spent trying to find a large enough screwdriver or modifying a flat drill bit. Worth every penny IMO.
