got first as a trial run
the stuff works great if you follow the directions
4
A little too shiny
I used this on a stainless steel AR barrel, an Armalite FF tube, and a Magpul UBR stock. It works great and I was very happy with the finish. My only critique is that the finish is a little too shiny. I thought this would be a matte finish but it is not. I hit the finish with the supplied scuffing pad to dull it down some. Other than that, these kits are priced right and best of all the finish stays put once baked.

1911 Shooter
Very easy to use, easy to apply. Used to coat my son's 1911 that's used for IDPA comps. A few thousand draws from a kydex holster and the coating around the trigger guard and dust cover have worn to white metal.

won't use again
this product sucks, it orange peels everytime I tried to use it. I've tried 2 times to paint an aluminum frame gun and it orange peeled both times. Followed instruction but it didn't work. would not recommend. very unhappy for what it cost.
