Safely moves fixed sights right or left in their dovetails without deforming slide or sight. Specifically designed for use with factory and aftermarket Tritium night sights, which are too fragile for the traditional hammer-and-punch sight installation method; works equally well with iron sights. Thumbscrew securely locks the slide so it’s fully supported in the rigid, machined aluminum body. Separate slots in the screw mechanism engage the sight and firmly, yet gently, concentrate screw force to loosen sights from even extremely tight dovetails. Hardened steel handle provides plenty of leverage, while self-lubricating, oil-impregnated Oilite® bronze bearings and extra-fine threads ensure smooth, precise movement. Beretta/Glock®fit rear sights only. Glock®Flat-Side fits aftermarket rear sights with straight, non-sloped sides for standard- and large-frame Glock®pistols. SIG fits rear sights on all SIGs except SIG-PRO. 1911 will not work with most Kimber slide/sight combinations. Only works on rear sights. Not for installing or adjusting front sights.

Well Designed tool

Works as described, easy set up that leaves sights and slide unmolested.

IMO Best Sight Tool for Glock

Top quality, well constructed and simple operation. Have used on numerous Glocks with no issues. Removes plastic Glock sights easily and installs metal night sights with straight or slanted sides. Take your time and do not force sights in to groove. Apply oil on tool threads and sight cut out on receiver. Do not bind sights during install. Great for adjusting rear sights.

You need this if you own a Glock!

As most, if not all, people know... the first thing you do when you buy a Glock is change out the sights. Paying your local gunsmith to do that can add up quickly. Especially, if you're one of the ones who is buying Glocks all the time to modify and personalize. My gunsmith charges $45 to change out sights on a gun. So, if you use this tool 3 times, it pays for itself... I'm thinking most Glock owners have had, or will have, 3 Glocks that need their sights changed. So from a value perspective, this tool is a great buy. In actual practice, this tool works perfectly as designed and is super easy to use. You don't need to have any previous experience to use this tool. The way it works is pretty self-explanatory, but there are some things that need to be taken into account for different models... in terms of shimming/etc. There are very clear instructions provided with the tool that cover all of that. Definitely happy with this purchase.

Must Have for Glock Armorer/Enthusiast

The MGW 309 sight pusher is so good, it was recommended to me by the instructor of my Glock Armorer course instead of the Glock made sight pusher. Same price, better built, and easier to use. That said, the MGW 309 lives in my armorer's toolkit, swapping sights, adjusting sights at the range, etc. The only drawback to the tool is that it is built for angled sights only, and not straight sided sights, but I'll let it slide since the vast majority of Glock sights I've encountered are angled. Along with the G42/G43 adapter kit, this tool has paid for itself time and time again. Highly recommended for anyone who works on Glocks or is constantly tinkering with theirs.
