Great screws but I needed Brownells part# 892112678
I was planning to grind the screws to fit the RMR to my Glock milled slide. the extractor was exposed and the RMR didn't seal it. I spent lots of time reading about screws and mountings for RMRs. I finally found Brownells RMR MOUNTING KIT FOR GLOCK MOS, SPRINGFIELD OSP (Brownells part# 892112678) that has a very thin part that seals the exposed extractor and has the correct length screws.

The right size screw
These are exactly what is needed to mount an RMR on a slide with a Zev RMR optics cut (in addition to a seal plate for the optic). I have tried other screws and have had issues with the head being a different size, the allen key cutout being too small, and/or the hardness allowing it to strip out. Finally, Trijicon needs to learn from the competition and include multiple screw sets and the seal plate. Brownells and Zev should just include the screws as well.

Worked
They worked mounting an RMR Type 2 to the Brownells slide
Spare Screws for my Brownells G19 Slide
The 5/16 size screws are what works best for me with the brownells G19 slide and my type 2 Trijicon rmr. Wanted to stockpile a few more sets for the future so I can keep it running! Hope brownells always keeps these in stock because I love their slides.
Perfect for Zev slides with a RMR cut
Glock 17 Zev slide, Trijicon RMR Type 2 = Homerun.
Use 1/4 and 5/16
I heard that if you put the 5/16 on both sides of the Glock compatible slide, that it would lock up the extractor spring. The slide came with a set of 1/4 and 5/16 screws, so I put the 1/4 on the extractor side and the 5/16 on the other side. This with a Trijicon RMR sight. The extractor seemed to work okay and sight stayed on. Eventually the 1/4 worked loose, probably because I used fingernail polish instead of locktite to secure it.
Prevent theft of extractor plunger
These screws perfectly fit the Brownells RMR plate for the Brownells Glock slide. I say the plate since I dont yet have a reflex Aight picked out. However the screw on the right side of the slide also enters the channel for the ejector plunger and makes it impossible to yo remove the plunger without backing the screw out. Also if you torque it a touch much it can lock down the plunger. We call that not good. Brownells apparently missed on a bit of GD&T when speccing these screws. I had to cut a couple threads off the screw to make everything work right.
TOO SHORT!
The longest screws (5/16" being the total length of the screws) that come with the Brownells RMR cut slide are NOT long enough to satisfactorily mount an RMR Type 2 (there are only about 3 threads worth of engagement). With a fully disassembled slide viewed from the back, you can clearly see that even 7 threads worth of engagement still doesn’t protrude into the extractor plunger channel. If tiny 4-40 screws is what they want to spec, at LEAST provide screws that are long enough!
Too short for Ameriglo Haven RDS
Ordered these as they were recommended for mounting an RMR footprint red dot like the Ameriglo Haven. They are too short and dont even protrude enough to reach the threaded posts on the Brownells slide (for G19) that I ordered. Go to you local hardware store instead.
