The Timney Featherweight Triggers for Savage Accutriggers are precision machined and hand-fitted to provide a crisp trigger pull. They feature a lightweight alloy housing with machined and hardened steel working surfaces. The trigger is fully adjustable. The trigger pull weight is adjustable from 1.5 to 4lbs. and is adjustable for creep and overtravel.

Huge improvement

Far better than factory and the elfman trigger. Simple and easy to adjust, fit my savage 110 precision perfectly and gave a super crisp trigger pull.

Works good, fixed creepy factory trigger

Easy to install and adjust, clear instructions, reading the other reviews helped me know what to expect. Like others I had to Dremel the stock in the trigger weight adjustment screw area because with the action in the stock there was contact equivalent to pulling the trigger. The symptom was, with the action in the stock, closing the bolt would drop the firing pin. I expect triggers like this to require adjustment to account for differences in manufacturing tolerances so was not disappointed.

Easy installation

I was skeptical of this being "drop in" but it really was just that. There are three adjustments that need to be made but the instructions are quite clear. It does replace the Savage blade which converts it to a truly single stage trigger.

Fantastic Trigger

Wow, what a difference!! I love Savage Rifles but they definitely fell short on their so-called Accu-trigger. I am in the process of building a Savage .308 Competition Rifle. After swapping them out and getting this one set to a crisp 1.8lb. I looked at the difference. Both are fully adjustable which is wrong. Yes the Timney Tactical is 100% fully adjustable but the accu-trigger is only adjusted with the single screw/spring tension on the back with no adjusting the sear which I can see why they put the sear catch on it. The groove is very shallow!! Yes there was some modifications that were made to fit but I already expected that so no gripe about that. If you dont know, this trigger is a bit longer so you will have to determine where and Dremel accordingly. 5***** from me! Id give it more if I could! Great job Timney!!

Don't wait buy one!

Installed this trigger in a Savage Lightweight Hunter. It required a little dremel work inside the stock to allow full trigger travel. This was done were the rear of the trigger sits. The difference between this trigger and the factory trigger was night and day. Make sure you follow the directions on the adjustment of this trigger to prevent an unsafe condition. Be sure to test it many times before loading. It's more than worth the money and pretty easy to install. I would definitely buy another if I had another accutrigger rifle.
