SAIGA 12 12-ROUND MAGAZINE

SAIGA 12 12-ROUND MAGAZINE Reviews & Ratings

High-capacity magazine of tough, lightweight polymer composite lets you load up and fire 12 rounds before reloading your Saiga 12-gauge shotgun—ideal for home defense or three-gun competition. Reinforced, injection molded Dupont™ polymer construction ensures durability and a slick, self-lubricating interior for fast, reliable feeding. Raised horizontal ridges on the grasping areas ensure a secure grip when removing and inserting mag into the gun. Removable floorplate for easy cleaning; precision wound steel spring is treated with a corrosion-inhibiting coating for long-lasting protection from rust. Counts as three parts for compliance with U.S. Code Title 18 Section 922(r) part-source requirements.

SPECS: Fiberglass-reinforced, injection-molded Dupont polymer, black. 12 round capacity. Fits Saiga 12 gauge shotguns only. Uses 2 3/4" shells only.

SGM 12 rd Mags
These mags are great, I have had not one issue with feeding and they are built tough. Highly recommended.

Adequate for 12T
I bought this mag for use with my 12T Kalashnikov since it's interchangeable with the Saiga12. This aftermarket mag requires a tiny bit more finesse to lock into the magazine well than the factory Kalashnikov mags but it locks into position fine without any modification necessary. The function was flawless as it manually cycled through the 2 3/4" shells with no problems. My only reservation with this mag is with the quality of its construction. It has a plastic follower instead of a steel one and the feed lips atop the mag are also molded parts of the plastic body. Factory Kalashnikov mags (KS12) have steel followers and a steel insert fitted onto the top of the mags which forms the feed lips, providing much more durable contact/friction points. If you are planning to do a lot of shooting and want the most durable mag then the KS12 would probably be the better choice. That said, I do like these SGM mags for low-use and defensive purposes.
