Precision Target Shooter
Shot the barrel out of a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6MM Creedmoor. The Ruger barrel lasted for 3000 rounds before giving itself up. I was pleased with the results of the factory barrel. The new barrel I installed is absolutely amazing. It shot a .250 group at 100 yds. during break in. This is unheard of in rifle barrels. After initial proofing of the barrel I was able to consistently shoot sub MOA groups at 100 & 200 yds. I use the rifle for competition matches and this new barrel is just what the doctor ordered. I hope to get at least as many rounds through this barrel as well. Despite what it says on YouTube, get a competent gunsmith to install your new barrel. It's not as easy as they make it sound. This is not the fault of the barrel.
