RUGER® 10/22® TRIGGER GUARD 2000

RUGER® 10/22® TRIGGER GUARD 2000 Reviews & Ratings

Completely new, CNC machined trigger housing with precision EDM trigger parts all pre-fitted and ready to drop-in, for a crisp, clean trigger pull. Hardened EDM sear and disconnector have tolerances held to +/- .0002". Hardened stainless steel hammer has notches surface ground to achieve the correct engagement angles, provides long-wearing performance. Reduced power hammer and sear springs lighten pull. Oversized hammer, sear and action pins remove wobble that ruins a great action job. Includes auto bolt release and extended magazine release.

Volquartsen TG2000
Paired with a competition Volquartsen Bolt in my 10/22 phenomenal accuracy. Dime sized groupings at 50 yards and Quarter or less sized at 100 Yards, depending upon ammo used.

awesome trigger
You could tell it's a quality trigger assembly. Been too cold but can't wait to go do a range day.

Awesome Drop in w/ Factory Stock
This guy went right in and shot really great. It much improved the feel of the trigger, lowered the pull weight, and got me two bonus features that I don't have to put in (pull to release and the extended mag release). The aluminum body construction is also nice compared to the stock plastic one. One con: just like the factory trigger group, when sliding this through the stock when disassembling it, the safety needs to go in the middle position. The safety didn't like being in-between the two detents and slipped out of the detents all together making the trigger useless until I fixed it. After disassembling it, I realized that all it took was a pair of pliers to spin the safety around. After that, this thing is smooth as silk, and cost more than the rifle I put it in.

I was surprised
How I use the product: I have been building and shooting the 10/22 for several years. I recently purchased the Volquartsen trigger to build a target rifle. I have been able to easily shoot 250 yards and hit my targets. I was able to do so with the stock trigger but the new unit has taken my shooting and accuracy to an entire new level. Before I was using luck to hit my target in regards to the trigger consistency; now I have a sure thing each and every time I pull the trigger. Consistency is an important thing for me and this trigger delivers it each and every pull. Things that are great about the product: I have been looking for a new trigger for many months if not years and I recently decided to purchase the Volquartsen trigger for my 10/22. I was somewhat concerned about the negative review posted on this site but chose to follow my gut and purchase it anyways. Once it arrived I immediately stripped down my rifle and put this one in. The unit was a direct replacement from the factory unit it replaced. I was even able to use my Tactical Solutions extended magazine release one this new unit. The trigger pull is a night and day difference. Major improvements compared to the factory set up. I experienced a light, clean and smooth trigger break that had little to no creep straight out of the box. This unit does have adjustments to reduce the creep even more, but I have found it unnecessary due to great settings already. I also found the new trigger to be wider for my finger to allow better finger to trigger feel and placement. This was a nice feature to enhance the comfort of the shooter. The auto bolt release is another nice feature they've added. The factory bolt release was a chore (at times) to release, Volquartsen upgraded this so a simple pull back of the bolt and it will close and function normally. This isn't a huge time saver but it is nice none the less. Overall this is a great product and I WILL purchase another one on my next build! Things that are not so great about the product: I had little to say about the negatives on this product. Like any quality trigger, you're going to spend some money. The one issue I did have: the pins that hold the internals (springs, hammer, etc.) in were somewhat loose and attempted to fall out while the unit was out of the gun and tipped on its side. This was not an issue once installed on the gun but found it noteworthy for my review.

Great Drop-in Trigger
No instructions, but trigger module installs just like the Timney Trigger Module except this one has no allenhead screws to install or adjust. Volquartsen may have instructions on their website, but I could not find any. Anyway, an easy install and a super light, smooth trigger for a Ruger 10/22! Brownells Tech Support is always helpful too. I would not hesitate to recommend this trigger to anyone wanting to dramatically improve their stock Ruger 10/22 trigger.

Excellent drop in replacement..
Perfect fit and crisp break, one of the best triggers I have. I will buy another one.

fantastic
It arrived, it fit easily and it created a trigger easily as good as many of my bolt action target rifles. AMAZING Not cheap but it is just so good, I would have at least 5000 rounds through mine now and it has never changed, crisp and light with a short return for fast follow up. Totally reliable. I have bought a number of products from Volquartsen and their production quality has always been great. I hesitated on this item as it is expensive but it is truly woht the $ once installed.

Excellent Drop-in
This will give you the nicest trigger you have ever experienced in a 10/22. Light, crisp, no overtravel. Huge upgrade and well worth the money
