Brownell shipping was very quick, and easy as always. The barrel was very well made and after close inspection was flawless. The bore was within 0.0001" from muzzle to chamber and was smooth as glass with no visable machine marks. The barrel fit into the Brownell reciever with just a light tap with a rubber hammer.
Accuracy was fantastic from the very first rounds, groups where 0.42" first and then after less than 50 rounds was putting 10 rounds in a .28" hole at 25 yrds.

The first upgrade you should do
I have had my 10/22 for a few years now, and aside from polishing things up I had really never done any upgrades. Installing this barrel was a breeze. I did have to polish the coating on the barrel channel, since the barrel is a bit thicker than the OE. Once this was done, the barrel dropped right in without any issues at all.
For anyone wondering, the barrel does come with a thread protector that is nicely knurled and fits tight.
The accuracy of this barrel is not much short of perfect. I was actually able to put three rounds touching each other at 25 yards. This makes shooting much more enjoyable when you know that it is not the rifle, but me when I shoot.
