Works nice
Easy to install, works nice. Very happy with this part.

Yes, I would recommend to a friend
You want this for your 10/22
It is impossible to release the bolt on a 10/22 without two hands in my experience. The little notch is hard to get to, and while at an Appleseed shoot with a sling strapped around your bicep to keep the rifle steady in a prone position it's an extra challenge. Buy this little part and you can then pull the charging handle and let it go to chamber a round. I get it that Ruger has that setup for new shooters to make them safer, and I'm all for safe shooting. But if you no longer need that extra safe feature get one of these and you'll be glad you did.
great replacement
the replacement part is a great add on to my gun. does what it says it does. very great purchase.
Clark Custom 10/22 speed release
With some basic knowledge like using the right screwdriver and not forcing things, this part can be installed by the average shooter. This part should be standard equipment on every 10-22 from Ruger but 3rd party stuff fills a void the manufacturer leaves. The OEM bolt lock back is difficult to master and this replacement part makes it simple. I have one in each of my 3 Ruger 10-22's.
Works Great
The main "Con" is that it comes without any installation instructions. But a YouTube search solved that. The installation is not entirely trivial, but not bad at all. Once installed it works great.
Great upgrade, easy install
Got two of these for my sons rifles. Really quick and easy to install and works just as advertised. Much less awkward to use than the factory release. There are lots of Youtube videos that detail the installation, but it is almost self-explanatory and took maybe 10 minutes total with no fitting needed on either rifle.
Quick, painless, easy
Quick, painless, easy install (with help of youtube video). No more two handed bolt release for this guy.
Easy to install, Works great
Ten minute install. I installed this along with an extended magazine release from a different manufacturer... no problems. There are no instructions with this but it is easy to figure out, especially if you have taken the trigger group apart before. There are lots of videos on YouTube, etc that show you how.
Highly Recommend!
Easy to install, to release bolt simply slap in a magazine and pull back on the charging handle. Makes for a quick and easy reload with no fumbling to release the bolt.
Really makes a difference!
Really glad I went with Clark! Had a Vol. This 'automatic bolt release' doesn't really drop in if you have an extended magazine release. You might need to massage the mag release with a file on the bolt catch side. No big deal... Kept removing material until... I didn't need to : ) !!! Awesome function.
