The SB-X barrel provides the versatility of a short barreled rifle (SBR) without the burden of red tape paperwork. The SB-X barrel allows the addition of a suppressor without drastically increasing the overall length of your firearm. The barrel length of 12.25” would be considered an SBR if not for the shroud which brings the overall length to 16.5”. This barrel avoids cumbersome paperwork and provides a shorter, light-weight solution for those who love shooting suppressed. With the standard threaded end, attaching a suppressor is easier than tying your shoe. Includes Tactical Solutions inert suppressor.

SPECS: 6061 T6 aluminum, hardcoat anodized, matte black. Chrome-moly steel liner with 1-16" twist rifling. 16Ѕ" (42cm ) O.A.L. including shroud, 12ј" (31.1cm) bore length, .920" (2.3cm) O.D. Accepts muzzle accessories up to 1" (2.5cm) O.D. with Ѕ"-28 tpi threads. Installation instructions included.

10/10 for varmint control

I have had this on a cheap, base model Ruger 10/22 for a few years now. It is paired with a Silencerco Warlock II. An added red dot and light makes this a perfect rig for varmint control. Installation was a breeze. Two notes: make sure your stock can accept a .920" diameter barrel and your suppressor is ~1" in diameter to fit under the "cage." This barrel is perfect for keeping overall length under control if you are trying to add a suppressor on the end and do not want to add unnecessary length.

I love this barrel. It is accurate and light. It works great and looks fantastic with my AAC Prodigy. I can't say enough good things about it. I use the Hogue overmolded stock and even with a leupold 2x7 scope and a Montana sling and the suppressor all totals exactly 5 lbs 10 1/4 oz.

Great barrel, fits TAC65 suppresor

Easy to install following the directions. Apply a small amount of lube and the barrel seats in the 10/22 receiver quite easily. Fits great on a Blackhawk Axiom stock. With a Tactical Innovations TAC65 on the barrel the total length comes to right around 17". You get the benefits of an SBR without the hassle of the paperwork.
