RUGER 10/22™ PRECISION BOLT ASSEMBLY

RUGER 10/22™ PRECISION BOLT ASSEMBLY Reviews & Ratings

When Grey Birch Solutions designed their 10/22® pattern bolt assembly, they did so with three objectives. The first was to tighten and control head space to .002, which significantly improves accuracy and consistency of accuracy. The second was to improve the external coating, resulting in increased reliability and extended bolt life by resisting corrosion. And last but not least, making assembly and disassembly easier.

  • Bolt Material: Steel
  • Finish: Polished Nitride
  • Firing Pin: 17-4 PH
  • Spring and Rod: 17-4 PH

Assembly includes bolt with firing pin, charging handle, return rod, and return rod spring.

*Compatible with most 10/22® pattern receivers without modification

Love it. Very smooth and well made.

Great product!
I paired this bolt with a BRN receiver and the fit was excellent after about 5 minutes on the receiver with a jewelers file. I was very impressed by the machine work on the bolt. I gave this 4 stars because their design made it awkward to install the spring and bolt at the same time, however I was pleased with the results.

Buyer Beware
Purchased the LDR Carbon rifle. I've had 2 charging handles snap using cci standard and sk normal velocity ammo. I've had to drill it out and use a screw extractor to remove the broken threaded section out of the bolt. These were 2 different versions purchased a year apart so I doubt it was just a bad batch. Also had to send the rifle back to them to fix it because it wasn't shooting straight. Tried multiple scopes and mounts and after maxing out my windage on all scopes the rifle's POI was still 3-6 inches to the right. So seems their quality control isn't where it should especially for their price point.

Absolute junk
The bolt is fine. It’s the charge handle that screws into the bolt. It’s so cheap that it broke in the first 125 rounds of use.
