Brownell's 270-38 caliber patches
These cotton flannel patches work great for my firearm cleaning needs.

I have used these in the past. They work well and are coarse enough to remove contaminates from the bore.
22-270 (1-1/4") Patches
These work great for 22lr, 223 or 22-250. The 7/8" square one's are junk compared to these. Use with a good jag and no worries.
Perfect Patch for .490 Round Ball
I have found this to be the perfect patch to use with .490 round ball in my .50 caliber Hawken Rifle. It loads easily but firmly, and shows the perfect trailing marks upon firing. Whenever I go to a competition, other shooters see the spent patch on the ground in front of my shooting position and inquire about it.
Works great for .223
Works great and doesn't come apart like other patches. Works perfectly when wrapped around the Parker Hale style jags. Won't be using any other patches.
The best patches
I prefer round patches on a jag. Even distribution as the rod goes through the bore makes for more uniform cleaning and oiling. These patches are soft, durable, and don't fray at the edges. My preferred patch, hands down!

The only patch I've found that fits my 17hmr without having to trim .

Your bore is round, use a round patch.
Too big to a .22 jag push
Great patches but are too large for a proper push-through with a .22 jag. Better suited for loop-through ends and .223 and larger calibers.
I would buy this product again and again
I used a different brand of cotton patches for years. Despite the one unhappy review for these patches, I decided to order a bunch (over $100.00). They are EXCELLENT! As good, or better than what I was using. I will definately order more in the future.Good for both rifles and pistols.
