Great product
Ive had the slide over a year now. Purchased one of Brownells slides rather than sending mine off to be milled and coated. No problems switching from a 43, 43X or a 48. Ive used Glock barrels and a True Precision barrel now stays in it. Purchased a SCT frame on sale a few month later and have a complete gun. It felt a little gritty at first when working the slide. I thought i cleaned and lubed it well prior to shooting. One or two mags of ammo cured that. Wouldn't hesitate buying another.

Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Great optoon to milling your factory slide
Fits and looks great. First time fully assembling a stripped slide. Wasn’t that hard. Hardest part was getting the spring caps on the firing pin assembly.
Seems good so far.
A EPS Carry fit right on it. Seems well made, although i'm no gunsmith.
Great fit, great price
Everything fit together perfectly. Used the factory Glock internals and paired it with a holosun 507k.
Perfect!
Easy swap out... everything fit like a glove. For a little more than the cost of milling your slide, you can have a backup "non optic" slide as well.
No Problems Whatsoever, Great 43X Slide
Fitment wasn't a problem at all on a factory Glock 43x/48 frame. Looks very nice, finish is great! I used a Brownell's branded 43X threaded barrel, factory Glock night sights & a Swampfox Sentinel Auto Adjusting, always on red dot and fitment was perfect there as well. USE THE SCREWS THAT CAME WITH THE SLIDE!
Perfect
It's exactly what you expect from Brownells. The slide arrived in perfect condition (no rust at all) 1 day after I ordered it. I stripped the parts from the stock Glock 43x slide and had zero trouble installing them in the Brownells slide. Went to the range today and shot 100 rounds flawlessly. Grouping was as good as the stock slide.
Great Product, could use little more QC
Love the nitride finish on this, definitely better than the stock Gen 4 finish. The mounting holes for the optic had rust in them (as pointed out by other reviewers) but came right out with a little cleaner and oil and some brushing. I would encourage Brownells to start checking their slides more before their shipped out. At least spray a little oil in there. Overall, it's a great slide that's perfect besides the mounting holes for the optic. Everything's in spec, the finish is great and it feels like a solid product. Wish it came with a cover plate though. Also, the slide is shipped bone dry so make sure you oil it up before installing. 9/10 or 4.5/5
Solid Aftermarket Frame Under $250
Reading other reviews, I was skeptical about how reliable this slide would be. But when it came in the mail it didnt have anytime if debris or rust in the screw holes like Ive seen from other reviews. I did have a few issues in the first 50 rounds down range. I had a couple misfires and cycling issues. But since putting another 150 rounds through the gun Ive had zero issues. No cycling problems, no light primer strikes. Smooth shootin. I know theres some mixed reviews so there might just be a QC issue with this specific slide but from my experience so far has been good after breaking in my 43x build.
Overall, good value
Originally purchased for use with a Shield RMSc dot. Worked fine. Included screws are marked #6-40 and were loose in the holes. Guess what? METRIC... M4 screws fit perfectly. Weird. Ordered M4 8mm screws from McMaster Carr. Switched to HS507K and used a Dremel to remove the two rear nubs that are in the way for the 507K, that's an easy 20 minute job with the right grinding wheel. Tested on G43 and G43X frames, works great. Would be 5 stars except for the hassle of discovering M4 threads and sourcing M4 screws elsewhere.
